The protagonist, called back to the island of St. Amelia. What the official copy says about where and when the story is set is on the setting page. Because the game is played in first person, PlayStation says some of Simon’s thoughts arrive as text on screen rather than spoken aloud, which is covered on the first-person page.
A nurse from a local family clinic in St. Amelia, first heard through the CRTV calling Simon back to the island. Observation, the credit listed for Burrows, is an earlier game from the same studio.

The description of the official Japanese cast trailer lists the same three names as the English announcement, with the character names in Japanese, and no other actors. Metacritic’s aggregated crew list, which is not first-party and does not say which language each credit is for, adds three names beyond the three above: Kenjirô Tsuda, Christopher Sabat and Philip Rosch (credited as “Male 02”).
